- The treatment creates open channels in the skin, which can inadvertently serve as an entry point for such products. If this occurs, medication or active ingredients can penetrate the skin and lead to an allergic reaction, prolonged healing time, excessive swelling, and granulomas. Ensure that any products applied to the treated area are specifically recommended for use in this context.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, and steam rooms for 48 hours post-treatment.
- As soon as the craters close, usually within 1 to 3 days, use a gentle cleanser, plain moisturizer, and physical sunscreen.
- No makeup for 2 days.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 2 weeks following the treatment and use sunscreen daily.
- Follow any additional instructions provided by the clinic regarding skincare products and care.
